What We Treat:

Mood Disorder Treatment
Life is filled with everyday ups and downs or normal reactions to positive and negative events. However, if you find that mood is affecting your daily activities, relationships, education, etc, you may be suffering from a mood disorder. Mood disorders are typically diagnosed under three major states of mood: depressive, manic, and bipolar.

Anxiety Management
Anxiety is a naturally occurring phenomenon that all humans experience. In most cases anxiety is mild and beneficial for survival and motivation. However, sometimes the levels of anxiety a person feels are no longer productive and actually prevent necessary daily activities. When anxiety reaches this unproductive level an Anxiety Disorder is generally diagnosed. Anxiety disorders may include Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Panic Disorder.

Veteran and First Responder Mental Health Care
Mental health treatment disparities in this population is palpable and can be considered crisis level. Working in multiple modalities within the mental health system, the population that is self sacrificing and at the epitome of altruism has led to a passion to provide treatment to First Responders and Veterans of our Military, Police, and Corrections systems. The rate of suicidal deaths in corrections, policing, military and other first responder populations has been drawn to my full attention and has directed my career in identifying the lack and need of more trauma informed care as well as more holistic approaches to serving the special needs of this population. Allow me to make this journey of recovery with you to allow yourself to optimize your general health and well-being to achieve self-transcendence through connecting with others on a level to be more fulfilling.
